Welcome to Carina Station.

The year is 2396. Over the last three decades, the Federation has found itself pulled in a multitude of directions. It has fought to defend the Alpha and Beta Quadrants from hostile invasion, helped to rebuild in the face of terrible war, and attempted to relocate billions of sentients out of harms way ahead of the greatest ecological disaster in living memory. Yet, these efforts came at a cost. There were those (from without and within) who sought to take advantage of the strain.

Carina Station, a Narendra-class starbase under the command of Captain Ka Wehi Ma Kana Io Lana, stands against those who would seek to divide. Built as a joint operation between Starfleet and the Klingon Defense Force, it represents an ongoing effort to open doorways instead of closing them, and to build bridges rather than walls. Even now, it continues to be a beacon of hope, cooperation, and safe harbor for those caught up in the chaos of these changing times.
