Often referred to simply as ‘Medical’, these levels contain the major medical facilities for the station and surrounding region. Six separate sickbays make up the foundation of the medical section. Each is equivalent to that found aboard any large starship, and each specializes in its own area of medicine. There are also several counseling centers, research laboratories, cryogenic stasis racks, as well as various other wards and isolation facilities. Additionally, a pair of holosuites are available for training, study, and testing. The triage center, located at the heart of the medical section, has its own dedicated transporter facility for rapid casualty delivery. Each sickbay (as well as the triage center) possesses its own Emergency Medical Hologram, with its programing adjusted for that field of work. |
