Following in a long line of healers and care-givers, Starfleet Medical is the group that ensures the health and well-being of Starfleet personnel. They are the doctors, nurses, technicians, and counselors charged with tending to all who need them. Whether you've stubbed your toe or suffer from post-traumatic stress, the folks in sickbay are well-prepared to assist you.

With skill-sets ranging from microsurgery to psychiatry, a Starfleet medical officer is prepared to offer the highest excellence in treatment. They are often trained in more than one branch of medical science, thanks to the many advances within the medical field. Working closely with the Science Department, medical personnel are also able to diagnose and treat previously undiscovered conditions.
